A Brief Bio of Sorts:

Grew up, raised, amidst the quickly growing suburban sprawl outlining a deteriorating Detroit. Catholic School expelled by the 11th grade. Some time in Kalamazoo, attending college for a never to be law enforcement gig. Headed west immediately after, L.A., then a flop around here and there for a few years before settling back in Los Angeles, Venice Beach specific.

Lived in a 25 foot sailboat (2.5yrs), friends laundry room (2yrs), actual apartment (2yrs), art studio (2yrs), a 1983 Dodge van (2yrs), and a small Diesel Bus, where I currently reside.

Employment has included odd jobs, bar bouncer gigs, and the longest stretch of relative steady work as a Los Angeles motorcycle messenger (10 years).

Along the way several travels taken aboard Greyhound buses across America, sometimes 2-3 month stretches of wandering via the Hound, living in youth hostels, digging the America scene, observing, writing, etc.

Writer of numerous short stories, prose etc. Self published zines in mid/late 90’s. Several Greyhound travel stories written, many electronically mailed out to readers, many lost on computer hard drives, and some published ("White Buffalo Gazette", "Get on the Bus"). A 20 page book entitled “American Brief” self published through LULU in 2006.

Filmmaker, video artist; “experimental, autobiographical, avant garde, absurdist, comedic” are some common labels describing the “style”, or whatever, I do. Screened in many festivals in both U.S. and Europe since 1997. Shown on Free Speech TV via the Dish Network. Longest, and most prolific participant of the PXL THIS film festival in Los Angeles.

Actor/Performer of many characters in my own films, and for American Films, an experimental filmmaking group from Boise. Starred in the upcoming art film feature “Recovery House”.

Currently living on road, in a bus, with a cat named Jezebel. With extended stops and stays along the California coast, mainly Los Angeles, Santa Cruz, Humboldt County, and also Boise Idaho. Filming and documenting, posting directly to the web (OutsiderFilm.org) Writing continues, publishing also directly to the web (elienation.com).
